Volunteers
Although we have no appointed committees, our church has many volunteers who offer their time to help with our different ministries. Regardless of the weather, our guys arrive around 7:00 AM each Sunday to set up the chairs, audio equipment, pulpit and tables. The floors are swept and everything is perfectly in place by the time everyone arrives for the service.
There is always a lot of hard work "in the background" that involves a great deal of effort from our volunteers. It's very time consuming to copy the CDs, stuff over 300 of them into envelopes, stamp each one and take them to the post office. Several hours are spent on the prayer chain. Our family remembers to bring food and other items for the needy each week. They make an effort to put change in our "Pennies from Heaven" box as well as donations toward feeding the hungry and helping families in our church for their many needs. If any of our young military men are overseas, we send them boxes of goodies to remind them how much they are loved, missed and appreciated for what they do for us. Any time there is a special need, our church family bonds together to fill this need as quickly and adequately as we can. We thank God for blessing this church with so many caring and loving people, and give Him all the glory for leading so many to help others.
